Research

My academic background is in neuroscience, brain health, and ageing, with a PhD grounded in applied social science and health research.

My interests include:

  • Brain health across the lifespan

  • Ageing, identity, and lived experience

  • Embodiment, perception, and the nervous system

  • Creative, qualitative, and participatory research methods

  • Translating research into practice, policy, and public understanding

I’m particularly drawn to research that moves beyond theory and engages with real people, real contexts, and real-world complexity.
